Feature & Follow Friday (#1)

Q. What is the best book you've read in the last month? What is the worst book you've read in the last month?

The Storyteller by Antonia Michaelis has got to be the best book I've read this month, and one of the best I've read in ages. It's a heart-wrenching read but I felt deeply for all the characters involved and the writing was absolutely beautiful, especially considering it's been translated from German. On the other hand I just could not get into Fallen by Lauren Kate.  I didn't like the main character, Lucinda, very much and every time she had a scene with Daniel I found myself rolling my eyes... I ended up giving up on it.

  2. I picked up a copy of The Storyteller a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't sure whether or not it'd be for me but I've seen so many gushing reviews that I can't wait to read it now!

  8. I want to read The Storyteller so much. I keep waiting for my library to get it but I'm beginning to think they never will. :( Fallen never seemed like the kind of book I would like, so I haven't read it, and probably won't.

Thanks for visiting my FF. I'm a new follower. :)

  9. New follower! I haven't read Fallen yet, but it seems to be one of those that people either love or hate. Here is my FF if you'd like to follow back: http://theonceandfuturelibrarian.blogspot.com/2012/03/follow-friday-10.html

  11. I've heard great things about Storyteller whenever I get the chance I'll have to pick it up! Fallen...well I read that when I didn't have anything else to read...and Luce just gets more I'd-like-to-slap-the-hell-out-of-you in Torment so if you weren't a fan of Fallen you probably won't like the 2nd one either. Thanks for stopping by the blog, following back!
